Whats going on there is heresy. The proper height for a night titan is 5.5" tall, or just a wee bit larger than a Dreadknight. Everyone knows this, its simple scaling up of the epic models, like the Wraithknight/Firegale.
What the hell are you basing that on? Thats not even close to being true, I have an epic Imperial night from Titan Legions in my hand right now and its much bigger that

We already have an orky version! Just cut it off at the knees, leave the armor plates off, slap a few glyphs on it, and voila! Mega-Dread!

Sources say Forgeworld is has been taken aback by the massive positive response to the Knight Lancer, shown off at Forgeworld Open day and featured in Horus Heresy 3: Extermination.
Look for them to continue a series of add-on kits including:
-Knight Inferno Cannon
-Knight Plasma Cannon
-Knight Power Fist
Then they will move into more elaborate add-on kits including:
-Super detailed interior kit w/Knight for the Paladin/Errant
-Alternative armor panel kits for the Paladin/Errant
and later...
-Chaos Knight

lol maybe, but FW doesn't - seeing as the Pre-Heresy stuff is more or less destined for un-corrupted Chaos warbands in the 41st millenium, besides its primary use

As will I. I'd rather have six individual Knights over spamming the same two Knights over and over again.

I guess that's why they kept stum over it until the initial hysterical rush to buy had settled.
Hopefully the weapons will come on socket arms like the plastic kit and not require some already glued component.
What? I man can dream can't he...

There's pics already available via the Open Day.

Of what the Lancer?

Well at least one Erant is getting a fist, but the grognard in me feels uneasy about messing with the Pallies. but I probably will anyway.
I'm gona gues that the plasma will be for the pally and the Inferno Gun for the Errant?
I was going to get 3 of each of the basics an then one of each of the FW loyalists, assuming that they were doing Lancer Crusader, Castelian and Baron (who one will assume would be 0-1 and must be the warlord) as that would give me 10 so I can feild a whole household in Apoc games.

Uploading from a mobile so not sure how good these will come out. The sketches are concepts for further Knights. There will be a couple more of the Lancer chassis type, weapons for the Paladin chassis, and a shorter, stockier heavy weapon Knight chassis. There will also be Mechanicum versions of each chassis released.

Are these Knights or Warjacks? I'm a little confused here.

There were half a dozen different types of Imperial Knights. Obviously the fellas at ForgeWorld are itching to make them all.

If anything, they look like some of the more dubious designs from Battletech, with a similar sort of "stick X number of BFGs in there, and then build the rest of the mech in whatever space is left" design philosophy.

I think FW are doing a better job with knights than the parent company IMO, I like the designs a lot more - and it seems there will be more variety as well.

I agree. The options are great to have. At this rate, I'm only going to buy two knights from GW, and magnetize both of them, then get one of everything FW makes.

DWest hit it on the nose. Very Battletech-esque. In fact the one with the giant gun right above the head/cockpit looks a lot like a Legionnaire BattleMech. Only thing that may save GW is that they add that Grimdark flair to the designs.

"Why does my giant robot have a cathedral on the back? That's for the singing robot babies to pray in. What do you mean you don't have singing robot babies in your giant robot? What kind of giant robot is complete without the singing robot babies?"
But seriously, I take issue with GW needing "saving." Steal, you magnificent *******s, steal away. Steal everything. The only way to make great art is to steal the things that other people make, eat it, and then poop out your own version. I just wish GW would stop being such assnards about other people doing the same thing to their stuff...

Yes you are, very much so. Hint PP rtook inspiration from GW not the other way around.
GW just left the giant sholderpads in the 80s where they belong...
