Still, this photo is YMMV in visual form; there's only really two responses to this. Some people see the negative: they look and see nothing but a silly little dumba$$ who's immature enough to think he's being awesome instead of outrageously witless. Others look and see the positive: a man with a bright future in either organ donation or draught exclusion.

There was a Satsuki cosplay at MCM with a Gamagoori as a bodyguard. Spent the much of the comicon ignoring people around her, was pretty funny as an in-character thing. :P

This is my mom, a 47 year old woman. She’s watched every Steven Universe with me to date, and when she learned Connie is Indian, she IMMEDIATELY wanted to cosplay her. I couldn't find it, but there's a great one of Eve Beauregard and a guy cosplaying Booker and Elizabeth from Infinite. The shot they had was of the poster advertising it with Elizabeth falling and reaching a hand out to Booker, and it was excellently done. I agree that the amateurs are more fun, you get better conversation from them. Once had a half-hour long chat at LFCC with a German lady dressed as Agent Coulson, who had this badass version of the rifle he has. Was pretty cool given that she took six months to build it!

It's a very different animal to 'Legend of Aang'. Obviously there's the gay thing, which is pretty great, but there's a lot else that's very different. Like, at first I thought it was much more disconnected than 'Aang' was, due to the 'Villain of the Season' approach, rather than the overarching villian of 'Aang'. But there's a huge amount going on.

I think there's probably an essay in there about how it's essentially about the myriad ways society takes power from women, and the ways women can reassert themselves in the face of that without becoming hardened, hateful, or losing themselves.

It's also got a very compelling arc about overcoming bodily violation and the PTSD which follows it. It's basically as close as a YA/kids show is going to come to a thoughtful, meaningful discussion of rape, its effects, and overcoming the trauma of it as you'll ever see.

I really like it.

Ridiculously implausible, agreed, and that's the show in a nutshell. Even the character complained about it when it first happened (and that first episode is as far as I got).

But she pulled it off very well for what it was.

Looks like someone remodeled their basement, best bedroom ever. Not bad craftsmanship on the vault door, just some light gauge metal and nails, wouldn't be hard to do. Looks Russian from the writing in a couple spots. The pipboy is impressive.

Hi, when the topic is about cosplay, I always thought about Anime. I usually remember what I heard from my niece that the characters to be worth seeing are Sailor Moon Crystal, Love Stage, Hanayamata, Glasslip and Barakamon before. I actually like their colorful attires being used by cosplayers. My fave costume is Sailor Moon.
