Can a demon prince without wings (monstruos creature) join a unit? If so, does it has to be a demon unit? Does it has to have the same mark? Could it be an unmarked unit and a marked demon?
I don't have the rule book yet and I dont know if it is posible for IC MC join units, but I've seen tyrants joining units in the tyranid army.

Tyrants can only join Tyrant Guard.
Tyranid Primes (not an MC) can join units, plus it's the only IC Tyranids have.

Daemon Princes don't have the independent character rule.
