not been able to splice two things isnt a free will thing, I mean like you cant splice a rock and a turnip. It's just not possible...

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

    Ok let's debate about veg

No where can I find the info on Brussels being anything other than a vegtable in its own right. Of the same family as cabbages but no where can I see it being a GM product. Cultivated originally by Romans sure, but not an actual veg that's been created by human intervention.

I say scientists just aren't trying hard enough because Big Vegetable is against the development of rocknips.

The species Brassica oleracea contains a wide variety of vegetables, including broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens, and brussels sprouts

Pffttt I know they don't, they grow on those branch things, that make them more expensive to buy if you get them still attached. Apparently last longer.

But I go back to your point, Brussels are mini cabbages GMed by man ? Rubbish man your talking (amusing) rubbish .

It is selective breading to get certain characteristics. For some reason it is acceptable with flowers/plants/vegetables, even certain animals (like the projects to rebread extinct animals from hybrids). But you do it with people and suddenly it's 1930's Germany all over again.

It doesn't actually work with people it's weird, read some stuff on it a while back.

Why wouldn't it work with people?

Don't know, it just doesn't. Selective breeding initiatives in the late 19th and early 20th centuries all failed to produce anything resembling selectively bred traits.
