Might not have your request, MMOs have a tendancy to copy and paste backdrops.
I don't know why you all keep referring to "the next Elder Scrolls", as if Online doesn't exist. It has a story to tell, whether or not you're part of it.

Red like roses, fills my dreams and brings me to the place where you rest...
that doesn't make any sense, nobody has suggested Online doesn't exist.

'splodge and Wolfie are ignoring it. xD

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

I acknowledge it's existance, but I shall not play it. I dont have time for MMOs, that is the reality of the situation.
I think Learn2eel does make a good point regarding old(er) games, visually they don't stack up so when you are playing them, especially from a 3rd person/1st person perspective it can be quite jarring

Agree totally with this, in comparison the vaults in NV were all very very different, from mad biker gang bases, to plant life gone wild and the ghouls trying to fly away on the rocket, all the tasks were more unique. I love skyrim and I will likely get the MMO but if ever they did a fallout MMO. I can't think of any other game I would rather play.

yeah, same environments and same enemies everywhere you go underground in skyrim does get pretty boring

I think that that could be a complaint of almost open world game.

Sci fi's seem to be really hard to get right as an MMO. They all seem to flunk, bar maybe Planetside 2.
I'm a Bethesda fanboy, and I view both The Elder Scrolls and Fallout as two sides of the same coin, I like them both equally; afterall, they are the product of that one company. (now I know Vegas was technically made outside of Bethesda, but it's still theirs)
One thing that annoyed me about New Vegas? Fracking "Dead Money", that bomb collar you get on you is so bloody annoying. I think my favourite extra from the Fallout universe is "Broken Steel" from F3, it added more Liberty Prime to the game, and I love Liberty Prime.
