The thread started from such humble beginnings and grew to a greatness nobody could ever have imagined.
Slowly absorbing more members into it's ramblings.
No one person could direct or control the flow of topic, and several repeated through out it's lifespan.
Who could forget the great chicken debate, the grammar rage, or that TDA still owes everyone £5?
Surprisingly it remained civil for over eleven thousand posts, which is probably some sort of record.
Unfortunately it grew to the verge of self awareness and the almighty admins declared locking the only answer to prevent it taking over the entire internet.
Hopefully the Tribute thread can take the torch forwards and live up to the legacy The Off-Topic Thread (the BEST thread ever!)
