    Default stripping plastic with Isopropyl alcohol?

    anyone ever do this? will it damage the plastic?

    I use IPA for stripping plastics to no ill effect. it might soften the surface slightly but as far as a i know most other commonly used strippers do that.

    IPA works very quickly i.e. light rubbing with a cloth or brush dipped in will strip the surface paint of almost strait away.

    Just make sure you have good ventilation as its rather volatile and the fumes aren't the best for you

    Im not sure about that stuff but i use la's totally awesome for removing paint from my models works really well and is cheap.

    Simple Green works great on metal plastic and resin
