I'm still painting my succubus and mandrakes but converting is quicker, and more fun for me.
I'm probably going to use the new Urien Rakarth mini as my main haemonculus (because he's awesome) but this guy can be his number two made from ghoul parts, corpse cart parts and Bile's chirurogen. He's also going to be the driver of my wrack raider.
And something finally painted.
Female mandrakes
Shame their rules are a bit meh, I was really looking forward to using these gals.
Mostly daemonette with green stuff and skaven bell smoke on the base.
Succubus
Not sure why I though that agonisers were more like Freddy Krueger style weapons but I'm fairly pleased with her anyway.
Awesome conversions!
Could we get some more close up shots of the back and underside of the fighter?
Nothing stands between us and victory... but defeat!
No plan can survive execution by witless incompetents!
The underside, yes. I'm going to add some reaver bladevanes to the wingtips and a few other bits, but it's basically done. The back needs a bit more work once the real models are released (just some bare green stuff there at the moment).Could we get some more close up shots of the back and underside of the fighter?
Finished my haemonculus:
So close now to getting the real thing.
Ork bodies could work alright, but the problem with Ork bodies is that they are bent at a really weird angle (it's kind of "C" shaped) and that they come covered with their leather vests already. If you don't mind that, or were going for that particular look already though, it could work fine. It really depends on what you were trying to do. But I don't think that Orks would be too big at all.
EDIT: By the way, your models are amazing! You sir are a GENIUS!
BRILLIANT!
