i believe its a dogs of war thingummy. no idea how it works though, its been years since i even saw that book.

Malakai's Goblin Hewer is kinda like Ruglud's Armored Orcs: a DoW unit that was able to be taken as an in-faction choice for another Armybook (MM's GH counted as a Dwarf unit, R'sAO counted as an Orc unit). They have not been updated in the core rules, so I believe that means that GW considers them primarily DoWs, not parts of their respective army books.

In terms of how it functions, Malakai is an engineer with BS5 and a repeating handgun. The Goblin Hewer itself is like a 2x-range handgun that, if it hits a unit, inflicts d3 hits per rank of the target unit.

That is a beautiful model...if your group is a bit sticky with the rules I recommend you treat it/make it counts as, an organ gun....with the number of axes it throws out i would say it would certainly work like an organ gun!
