Heresy rules

hi all,

I stopped playing for a while now but with the new betrayal at calth box, I've rejoined the game.
My question is do the rules presented in the horus heresy volume 1 Betrayal (forge world) still count?
I want to play sons of horus.

Think of the Betrayal of Calth box set and the Forgeworld Heresy series as two separate games that use the same models. The Forgeworld Horus Heresy rules still are still in play.

Although the core army list has had some very minor tweaking in the red separate army list book by FW (mostly tightening up on the wordings, and correcting a few errata), yeah, the Legion list in HH book 1 is still the main valid list.
