Finished the third and final Wraithlord, its an anti-tank beast with Bright lance and Eldar Missile Launcher combo.

and an early WIP shot of my Fire Dragon Wave Serpent

I know the colours are a lot brighter than what I have previously done but its an early shot and I may tone down the flames with washes. It still has runes and spectral faces to be added as well.

The image was inspired by the Broken Trinity/Witchblade mini series from Top Cow comics if anyone was wondering.

Great work. What proportion of the painting time is taken up by all that freehand?

This is the most insane and best painted Eldar army I have ever seen, its easily my favorite Eldar army.
Well done and can't wait to see what ever else you paint.

VERY, VERY nice. Might be the best freehand work I've ever seen, I especially like the Wraith Lords, very Donnie Darko.

Sorry for a lack of updates but I had a deadline to work too and thankfully my work paid off.

The weekend just past was Fields of Blood here in NZ, the premiere 40k event with a handful of Australians making their way over to play as well.

We had 76 40k players all up so a very good turnout.

Here are the finished units previously unseen...

the finished wave serpent who successfully transported the fire dragons about

The dire avengers, valued objective grabbers in their wave serpent

The completed jetbike squad, always deployed in reserve

My objective markers used throughout the 6 games

and finally a complete army shot

For the final results of the tourney my army performed remarkably well,

ROUND 1 tabled a plague marine army
ROUND 2 lost to a mech black templar list
ROUND 3 very good game I won against a 2 monolith Necron list
ROUND 4 lost to a mech crimson fist army(the guy came 3rd overall so I dont feel too bad)
ROUND 5 smashed a Dark Angel Deathwing army
ROUND 6 another close win vs mixed Tyranids

I placed 13th out of 76 overall so was very pleased with that but I got what I actually wanted which was...

BEST PRESENTED ARMY '09 the harlequin award

Very happy considering there were some very nice armies on show over the two days.

Now I'm throwing around some ideas for a new project even though there will be additions to the Eldar.

So in the meantime I have started on a FW Revenant Titan stay tuned

looking at those minis I believe I've just had what they call a "xeno-gasm" (and i don't even play Slaanesh )
congrats on the painting award! keep up the excellent work!
... now back to crying in the corner due to my comparatively inferior painting skills...
