I am interested in playing more combat patrol, let me know how this sounds.

2 kans w/ skorcha 80
3 kannons, 3 runts, herda 79

I would definitely rope in some buggies (sail-powered grot cuttaz, obviously). In small point games, fast stuff like that will be invaluable.

I thought about that, but the kans are the same cost and offer more armor and cc capabilities.
With the kannons I fig I can begin blowing things up at a distance and use the kans to protect the troops to the objectives.
