Really nice paint job - and I'm wondering if that detailing on the armour might be sculpted.

Vulkan, Primarch of the Salamanders, is a complete multi-part resin kit that includes a removable scenic base. Model designed by Simon Egan. The rules for Vulkan can be found in The Horus Heresy Book Two - Massacre and The Horus Heresy Legiones Astartes: Isstvan Campaign Legions books. A video about how Simon went about making Vulkan is available here.

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

certainly looks better than my first impression - still not my favourite (can't put my finger on any specific reason why...), but a worthy primarch nonetheless

I think he's the first just to look 'big Space Marine', rather than more distinguished from his rank and file.

Serious Answer: You'd probably survive, but suffer lifelong muscle (and probably bone) damage :/

I really like the model......except for that jazz hand.

I managed to get my hands on him during Manchester ComiCon last month. I had a lot of fun painting him and I would say that the only concern I have with him is that the scenic base is in two parts so it is a bit wonky at places because it doesn't connect properly
