Evening all.
Just bought me a TIE Bomber, and there's a small mark annoying me on the launch pod.
To save me repainting the whole thing, can anyone advise the best matching paint for a quick retouch?

trial and error brother. Trial and error. I use plastic container lids to match my colors in that type of scenerio.
Knackers!
I'm crap at that.

Most X-wing ships are a simple base coat with washes applied (then stamped colors for effect). So really you need to match both the base and the wash.
I would find the local Golden Demon winner and show him the model. He may be able to tell you what colors and washes just from a quick look.
If you try to match and get it wrong, it will look bad. Could you try picking it out in an obviously not supposed to be matching colour?
Well that's not going to help!
Somehow I doubt a polka dot Bomber is going to keep the outer systems in line!

Paint it as battle damage.

Don't be silly, TIEs don't suffer battle damage. If you look at them hard, they explode. There's no room for a state in between "perfectly fine" and "debris cloud."
He's right you know!
TIE Pilots have to sit down very gently, as even that can cause them to detonate!

Lord help the TIE Pilot who just ate a bunch of beans.
