Default How to Create a Ship Interior Base

In this tutorial we teach you how to create a ship interior base. This base makes it look like your model is inside a ship on pipes or wires. Thanks for watching!

One quick tip I'd make for this style of base is to have all your bits longer than the base so when you trim to size you get a more even perimeter to your base.

I'm not the best painter in the world but I find doing the things that are easy to get consistent go a long way to improving the overall look of an army.

    YMMV.

Otherwise it's a great little tip vid.

After watching a second time the other quick tip I'd add is that if you're going for a space hulk feel or a ship that's experienced un-repaired combat damage. Distressing your coated wires by adding some slashes and gouges to the insulation would go a long way to help create that 'damaged ship' effect.

Again YMMV and it's still a great quick tip even without any added suggestions. :-D
