    Default Nightmarish conversions...

A while back I built myself a Chaos Lord with a Daemon weapon. Now, when I was thinking of what kind of conversion to do for the Daemon weapon what should pop into my head but the all the time I have wasted playing Soul Calibur, and especially just about my favorite character in the game; Nightmare. This was the result:

Sometimes I worry that the damned thing is too big, but then again, it is a Daemon weapon, so maybe that doesn't matter?

Anyway what do people think? Approve? Disapprove? Has anyone else modeled a character after someone from another game, film, book, etc, and if so who?

A Daemonsword can NEVER be too impractically huge. Also, I love it!

I think its scale is appropriate for something called a "daemon weapon". If it were a regular power weapon, I'd say it's a bit large. Also, he's wearing Terminator armor which brings the scale more in-line and makes it more believable that he could wield it.

Looks great. It is easily recognized as the one from Soul Calibur.

Looks great! I'm a big fan of the over sized weapon look.

Did you sculpt the daemon part of the blade from green stuff?

yes; the blade itself was carved out of plasticard, the gristly daemon parts and the eye were all green stuff.

That thing looks mental, I've always thought of making Dethklok Noise Marines if I ever get Noise marines.

    That looks awesome, dude.

And as for the Dethklok idea people brought up, Dethklok Noise Marines would be awesome. I'm toying with the idea of making Charles Foster Ofdenson as a Marbo stand-in.
