I love everything about this tank apart from the £72 pricetag and I only dislike that because I can't afford it. It looks like the designer might have been influenced by one of my favourite real world tanks, the Swedish S-Tank:

Certainly the profile is similar and they even share the top machine gun/heavy bolter turret.
Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a worrying thought!

A very well designed tank for a defensive roll. I still love the Leopard though, especially after we canadians get our hands on them and go to town with the mods.

I thought this wasn't the case, but when I went to look it up, apparently the one on a Leman Russ hull is a Laser Destroyer, rather than a Neutron Laser.

Ordnance (non-Blast) D3, no less. But if it fails to penetrate, it rolls a d6, and on a 1 takes a penetrating hit itself (albeit with a -1 on the VDT)

Why does it seem all the HH vehicles are painted in World Eater colors on the website? Nice tank though, love the heavy bolter

The predominance of World Eaters colors is due to HH1 being about the battles on Isstvan III, where the original Traitor Legions purged their ranks of remaining loyalists. This was going smoothly via orbital bombardment until Angron went on his meds again and decided to personally assault the remaining holdouts. I would imagine that as units start rolling out for HH2, we'll see different colors pop up, such as the Alpha Legion coloration shown on the Venator here.
Thank you for voxing the Church of Khorne, would you like to donate a skull to the Skull Throne today?

    Experimental rules are up.

He's good without having ridiculous range or the multiple shots of his bigger laser cousin.

    Those weapon rules are great:
    Neutron Beam Laser
One of the most powerful weapons mounted on any Imperial vehicle
of its class, the Hadyxis pattern neutron beam laser was a more
compact and sophisticated variant of the arcane neutron laser array
found mounted on the far larger Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyer.
While lacking the sheer damage output of the Cerberus’ system, its
shorter-focused, densely collimated beam at last dealt with the risks
of dangerous feedback that had plagued that weapons system. This
advance was only made possible by the Archmagos Jun Hadyxis of
Phaeton in the closing decade of the Great Crusade, and along with
the life of the savant-genius that created it, the secret of the weapon’s
construction would be lost in the bitter years of war to follow.

    Weapon Range Str AP Special
    Neutron beam laser 36" 10 1 Ordnance 1,
    Concussive,
    Shock Pulse

    Shock Pulse
Any vehicle (including Super Heavy vehicles) that suffer a Penetrating
hit from a weapon with this rule may only fire Snap shots on the
    following Game turn.

    Dangerous Reactor Core
The powerful reactor containment vessels needed to power the Sicaran
Venator’s primary weapon confer considerable risk of catastrophic
explosion should the tank’s armour be severely breached. If an enemy
unit inflicts a Penetrating hit on the Sicaran Venator, then they may re-
roll results of 1 on the Vehicle Damage table against it. In addition,
should it suffer an Explodes! result, add +D3" to the explosion radius.

    I love it
Twelve monkeys, eleven hats. One monkey is sad.
