    That seems rather inconvenient.
    I imagine they'd do a good job of keeping the lawn in check.

    It's much, much easier to get a pet kangaroo. The problem with kangaroos is that you have to raise them from a joey, it doesn't work trying to make friends with an adult. If you're in country areas and know what you're doing orphaned joeys aren't that rare, the trick is that they're babies and you'll need to spend the first few weeks getting up every few hours during the night to bottle feed them.
