Default Tau XV-9, Where can I use them?

Hey everyone, so I have two of each XV-9 suit there is and the commander too but I want to be able to use them in reguar 40K games since most won't let me. The commander is an easy counts as turn over and I'm going to use my XV9's with the phased ion guns as broadsides but I can use some suggestions how to run my XV9s with the twin linked burst cannons and fusion cascades. Any ideals out there?

who the &#$^ says you cannot use the XV-9s? Seriously, you need to stop playing with them.

LMAO!!! Well that's how it was at my old stopping grounds but I just moved to North Carolina and I figured the mentality was the same. In any case I just figured out that I can buy some more models and I don't have to add on their weapon but put on the XV-8's instead. I really, really don't like the look of the XV-8s.

there are 3 different versions of the XV-8s. GW-v1, Forgeworld, and GW-v2. You don't like any of them?

Actually all those models aren't as bad as I initially thought, I guess its just that I'm spoiled by the XV-9 design. I'll liken it to having a choice to either run a Praetor or a Primarch.

The XV-9s are pretty sweet models, I must admit.
