Ok so the intercept rule: The Exarch and his squad are so skilled at areal combat they can assault vehicles and never hit them at higher than a 4+....
Does this mean they can assault flyers at a 4+?

No, while the background has them doing exactly that the flyer rule is quite specific in that they cannot be assaulted while zooming. While the Intercept rule allows them to hit on no worse than a 4+, it doesn't allow them to assault units which cannot be assaulted.
Ask not the EldarGal a question, for she will give you three answers, all of which are puns and terrifying to know. Back off man, I'm a feminist. Ia! Ia! Gloppal Snode!
Now they just need some weapons that will do something to a flyer.
Weaksauce. Oh well... Guess they're going to stay in the box until the new book comes out.. ='(
Well the FAQ explicitly states "in assaults." Which is completely idiotic considering you never need more than a 3+ now. At least if it applied to shots, the str5 Assault 3 Hawk's Talon you can give the exarch might do something...
This is true combining the Talon and the Haywire grenades the squad would be effective at glancing vehicles to death. For the points they would be as affective as a fire prism (moreso as they could 'one shot' tanks to death), for cheaper.
Guess I'll just have to play-test it and see what happens. =)
In apocalypse isn't there a Swooping Hawk formation that does allow for assaulting flyers? Not got my books here to check at the moment.
Yeah, Intercept does nothing now. Oh well. Wait for a new eldar codex, I guess.
