Dwarf Bang Bang Army

It took me a long time to get used to dwarfs with guns, but something changed along the way and now I'm totally down with it. Engineering, cannons & pistols have dwarf written all over them.

I like it so much I'm going to make a return to Warhammer Fantasy with a dwarf army, where if it's ranged, it's got to go bang.


It's early days for the army, only three units built so far:

Dwarf Warriors x 20 (axe & shield, veteran, standard, musician)

Dwarf Warriors x 20 (hammer & shield, veteran, standard, musician)

Dwarf Thunderers x 16 (dwarf handgun, hand weapon & shield, veteran, standard, musician)


In the next couple of days I'll be building:

Dwarf Warriors x 20 (great weapon, veteran, standard, musician)

Dwarf Thunderers x 16 (dwarf handgun, hand weapon & shield, veteran, standard, musician)

Dwarf Lord (hammer & shield)

Dwarf Master Engineer (dwarf handgun)


As for painting I'll start that when the army is built. So not much anytime soon. I plan on painting this to a solid/good tabletop standard with some TLC paid to special characters and war machines. This first post will be updated with progress as units are completed (built/painted).

If you have any army advice on how to build solid dwarf force, I'm all ears.
