Space Marine IC traits question

Might have seen this before anyway can't find it so here goes...

Havign seen the IG FAQ just up, its quite clear that the IG orders can't be used to allies. With regard to the Space marine ICs, what about them and their allies?

More specifically does Hestan Twin link all Guard Melta/Flamers?

A Reference would be helpful if poss.

Currently, Vulkan He'stan will work on Allied Flamers and Meltas. This could be changed at smoe point, though I suspect it more likely that the 'Hunters codecies will simply be removed or changed to prevent the use of Allies.
