    I thought about that.

I look forward to maybe playing some Necromunda on one....only issue is lack of height. Maybe add some watchtowers and stuff

Or a 2 level battle. Have a normal big game with entry points to a Mortalis board on it. Unit can pass from one to another.

The rules and stuff are going to be in the Imperial Armour books...

I am going to have to get my friend to make some stuff like this. He makes very pretty scenery I think I shall dub him the fabricator general...

I was thinking a second level, say mounted 18-24inches higher for accesss, then you can start fitting shfts, vents, ladders etc, but for game purposes have them only a "real" story higher...

However the process of robo-insemination is far too complex for the human mind!

I like this it's a neat idea and free rules... WIN woot. Having said that though. Each board is 1 ft x 1 ft with each square being 2 inches square. I don't know seems like a good receipt for a DIY board with rules.

    Tools
    Chop Saw
    Table Saw
    1 - (2x4 boards)
    1 - (4x8 sheet of plywood)
paint or spray bottles as desired
    * At your local hardware store they have 1 square foot stickie tiles. You could try and find a rugged pattern and stick them on each of the cut out sheets of plywood to add 1 dollar terrain to it.

With all that you got the opportunity to make 32 squares so you can go nuts with it. It's that simple to build as big a set of terrain as you want. No it won't look as good as the GW one but if you got a club it would sure be a fun weekend project. Add models and rule set and you got a board for forever.

Thanks forgeworld for a great idea for a game table maybe i'll try later this year to actually spend some money on you guys with some space marine minatures.

This is awesome! I have been looking a for terrain that would replicate the insides of a starship or building for awhile. Now the only downside is that it is going to cost so much money that it won't be feasible to purchase it. Plus now that I think about it, it kind of looks like a mouse or rat maze. Maybe I could make a better, cheaper one with that instead and some other hobby supplies!

Looks grea for things like kill teams. our group has been running a kill team league and I find this to be a huge relief from the huge games. If these weren't so expensive I'd but a few

I like the rules set but for the cost I am not sold on the tiles.

I love the rules, but I must admit that the price point is a bit daunting.

However, I was thinking that you could get the same effect by getting a used Realm of Battle flat expansion board and going to town on it with plasticard.

If done right you could also have moveable walls instead of fixed ones.
