500pt list GK Help

Hey everybody,

I want to make a 500 point list for my little girl! I wanted to do Sisters of Battle, but I hate metal models. So I want to build her GK. I don't know anything about them and I want to get the models with all the sells going on. Any ideas on a starter list for her?

a good idea would try to put a lil bit of everything in the list so she has different unit type to try out , not sure on point cost dont have my codex on me but some thing like this

hq = corteaz (not sure on spelling) gives her a named char to try out plus hes not bad
troop= 5 man strike squad and a henchman unit can easily use gaurdsmen for this or what ever
heavy= dreadknight perhaps
something like this if you keep upgrades to a min come out at like 500 easily hope this helps

Grey Knights can be very exciting, I hope she likes them!

My idea for 500 lists:

Xenos Inquisator - Psychotroke Grenades (because these are fun!), power armor - 48
Grey Knight Strike Squad - Psycannon, Hammer - 120
Grey Knight Strike Squad - Psycannon, Hammer - 120
Nemesis Dreadknight - Personal Teleporter - 210

That is 498 and you have a fun unit to try out.

If you want to try Henchmen with her (for a more female model appeal) here is a Coteaz list I would use:

Coteaz - 100
Warrior Acolytes - (10 Models), 8 with boltgun, 2 with Flamers, meltas or plasma gun, - 68
Deathcult Assassins - (10 Models) - 150
Grey Knight Interceptor Squad - (6 Models) - Psycannon, Master Crafted Nemesis Sword - 181

That is 499!

I would do something like that to try out the models.


If you really want to be silly and cheap just by a Terminator squad and do this:

Draigo - 275
Paladin - 55
Paladin - 55
Paladin - 55
Paladin - 55

That is 495 points and Legal (I stole this idea from a previous thread...I think from Dark Link).
