Calling all Austinites!

Hey forum!

I'm out to Austin, TX at the beginning of Sept, as my wife and I start "anew".
I'm a model painter/hobbyist, 40k player, and I play a bit of fantasy and lots of DnD.

I'll be up in the Round Rock area to start, until we get on our feet.
So I just have to ask, what's the best game shop to get my 40k fix. I gotta be able to get paints and supplies while I'm there too!

Most of the BoLS crew plays at Dragon's Lair on Burnet Rd. in Austin, 40K night is Thursday. There are usually lots of folks there ready to get a game on -- and they have lots of tables and terrain to support it. Good store, good staff, probably the 40K "hub" in the Austin area. In RR there's also Rogue's Gallery, they don't have game space but they do carry models and paint. Good store, I hit them up from time to time to spread my game store budget around. [url]http://www.roguesgallerytx.com[/url]

There's also Wonko's Toys and Games in NW Austin area. They carry GW stuff and have some gaming space, too. [url]http://www.wonkos.com[/url]

Also be sure and check out the local forums, [url]http://www.centexwar.com[/url] You'll find info on pick up games, upcoming tournaments and so on (plus it's where the locals hang out and talk gaming).
