Building on an SM fleet...

Hail, fellow Admirals!

So BFG has been a favorite of mine for a long time - in fact, it was the very first Games Workshop game I even played. While my Eldar pirates have claimed many in the void, I felt like getting a fleet that would pair up with my 40K Marine Chapter. A few purchases later, I've found myself a veteran of command an Astartes fleet, and am now looking to expand it with some Imperial Navy reinforcements. Below is a preliminary list I'm toying with, though it's far from final.

All the marine ships on the list are completely finished, painted and all, and I've got two IN cruiser chassises sitting in dry-dock, awaiting their weapons. I want to know what you guys think...

Should I change the classes of the IN cruisers? If so, to what?

What should I add/remove to make a 1500 point fleet? 2000?

Brother-Admiral Severus, Master of the Fleet (Aboard ‘Aquilla Penne’) - 50

Battleships:
Space Marine Battlebarge ‘Aquilla Penne’ - 425

Battlecruisers:
Mars Class Battlecruiser ‘Lord Aiden’ - 270
Armageddon Class Battlecruiser ‘Radiance’ - 245

Cruisers:
Space Marine Strike Cruisers ‘Laurifer’, ‘Avum Preda’ & ‘Invictus’- 145 x 3 - 435

Escorts:
Gladius Squadron ‘Spatha’, 4 ships - 180
Nova Squadron ‘Pilum’, 3 ships - 150

TOTAL POINTS: 1755

Not bad, fairly standard. I'd Add some another Nova, a Lunar, and give the Mars the targeting upgrade to reach 2000 pretty effeciently and cheaply.

Also, is your Battlebarge named after a kind of Pasta?

*laugh* Heh, no, the ships name is latin for 'Eagle's Wing'. My Marine Chapter is the 'Imperial Eagles', hence the name. I have no idea where the Italians got the name for their yummy pasta :P

What should be changed to bring the list down for 1500 point games?

Eh, I'd drop one of the escort squadrons and a Strike Cruiser. Preferably drop the novas, but that leaves you 10 points over, so drop the Gladius and just add the upgrade to the mars to make up.
