First off, this thread is an amazing project log, really impressive work. Secondly, you have renewed my faith in MN, I recently moved to the cities and have been a little bummed over the lack of GW love in my immediate area and now I find out there is a tournament ramping up, and its at a bar no less.

Keep up the jaw dropping work, I look forward to maybe even being lucky enough to see it in person one day.

Hmmm, Cartographer: Where in the Cities are you located? There's:
Tower Games in St. Paul
Misty Mountain in Burnsville
Village Games in Anoka,
Phoenix Games in Deephaven
Famtasy Flight in Roseville
The Source in Falcon Heights

And quite a few have monthly tournaments (Phoenix and Misty Mountain) and Tower usually does something well organized every three months - tourny or Apoc.

There's a lot going on in MN, especially with no formal GW store in the state. Ya just gotta look around!

Haven't heard too much about most of those. I'm in Savage so Misty is the closest. I love Fantasy Flight but that's a trek for the limited hours I get to play, but their store is by far the best I have been to. Misty just seems so heavy in TCGs and now Warmahordes. I did talk to someone recently about Tower, but haven't visited yet, next on the list.

This. I'm in St. Cloud (hour-ish north), that's why I've decided to run a pub tourny once a year up here, brings some of the cities people up here
