Warriors....Come out and play
That's at least better than the poor *******s who die in the landing crafts on the way the the planets surface. Or the guy who opens the transport door and gets shot before he even gets his foot...
I doubt they're dumb enough to kill WFB. Doing so would burn a bridge they could probably never rebuild, especially for those with long memories.
I know there's a certain computer game publisher...
Nice. Although I'd really like to have one based on the Culexus from the cover of Nemesis.

I really like the new Culexus. I always thought that on the older models the helmet was way too big for the body.
With a few exceptions, the price per model for GW is actually very competitive with many other miniature companies out there. The problem is that your model count for 40k is much higher since most...
I think that's what GW expects. If enough of your local players play moderate and balanced lists, game balance isn't that big a problem. Mostly because people who bring cheesy WAAC lists should...
I've always thought this was the dumbest rule to ever infect this game.
First off, show me how this could be abused. Second, it doesn't make any sense. What GW is basically saying is that 10...
The problem with the fluff is that it's showing one side as the protagonists, most of whom need to actually survive the story (or at least not die till the end). If you can find the rules for 'The...
The current base is 60mm circle while the oval flying base is 90mmx120mm. Honestly, while it does look a tad big for it's current base it's way to small for the oval flying base. I could certainly...

Heroic is good for large armies, but for RPG's and skirmish games I prefer true scale.
At least that looks better than the original egg with legs.

Plus there's the added bonus that because the molds have to be made my computer, it's easier to keep the size of each unit in scale to each other. It's something the makers of Battletech should look...

What weapon is the character in terminator armor giving up to take the frost blade? The cost is probably based on the difference between the frost blade and what they were already equipped with.
Exactly. It's almost as if the writers just assumed that we would understand that any part of the platoon could only be bought as part of one, without actually telling us directly (as they did in...
All it says is what you can put in an infantry platoon to count as a single troop slot. But at no point, unlike previous editions, does it say you can't buy one of those squads individually. In...
Ok, I have found the answer to the OP question.
In the 5th edition codex, all the units in an infantry platoon were marked with an asterisk and on the bottom of the 2nd page the the codex stated:...
"simply use whichever units from your collection you want."
It says I can use whatever unit I WANT. If you don't like the lack of restrictions, don't play Unbound.
The only written rule for unbound is "simply use whichever units from your collection you want."
Unbound is basically Apocalypse on a small scale, and that allowed all sorts of rule breaking with...
The problem with the Wargames Foundry figures is they are more expensive and not being 'Heroic' scale, they will look smaller next to other GW figures. £12.00 is a bit over $20.00 for 5 metal minis,...
I just looked at the rule book and it doesn't say you can ignore restrictions, nor dose it say you can't. What it says is:
"simply use whichever units from your collection you want."
So without...
Not hardly. They still have new books and new minis coming out all the time. And unlike 40k their universe actually advances the timeline.
