Haha! It is terribly unbalanced, but it sounds like a lot of fun :) From a practical point of view though, there are a few issues... a) It'll be a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal pain in the proverbial to roll...
Is your list based around what you have? Or what you would like? Because there is a distinctly small showing of Aspect Warriors... and they're what make Eldar so fun!
Is this an all-comers list? Or is there a specific opponent in mind?
Danke schon! Good to be here and having fun :)
Hntz! Well spotted!
Camp them out in abuilding or behind some dedicated cover and they're a pain in the proverbial for anybody wanting rid of them :)
Just a quick post to say "HI!" to everybody at BoLS - I've been posting for a week or two but not introduced myself. I'm a 40k addict from the UK, and, like a butterfly, I flit from project to...
Every game I have played involving Dire Avengers sees them getting mowed down fairly easily. Get some Rangers in there as Pathfinders to camp out on objectives.
That looks like a really solid list! One thing I would suggest, although you might not want to tweak it, is sticking a Thunderfire Cannon in one of your drop pods instead of the Tactical Squad......
Sentinels are good for flushing out troops - don't bother making them armoured. Just treat them as one-turn wonders and write them off after flaming a squad or two :)
Twenty scoring units is still a bit light when facing up against hordes such as Orks and Nids. Whilst your Swulves will be devillishly good at dishing out pain, the sheer weight of numbers and...
Stormraven! Stormraven!
Also, it may be more interesting to have some non-Drop Pod units. They're damn effective, but the list is a bit spammy... They'd probably do well though.
Your tactical squads in particular will be vulnerable to aerial assault, won't they?
Nice list! I hear what Caitsidhe is saying about the Baleflamer also... The whole "Daemons have WS3" thing is exceptionally annoying, so template weapons are a thing of joy when you're able to use...
If you're going to stick anything up on the SSLP then put the Pathfinders there and snipe snipe snipe! With the additional +2 to their cover save they will make a hard target for anybody and can...
They did all of the official SoB rules and updates in WD last year, didn't they? Without meaning to be disrespectful to them, they're rather a niche army to get a full-on codex so recently after that...
It would certainly make them nice and hard! Invulnerable 4+? Yes please! Mark of Slaanesh wouldn't really help them... Mark of Nurgle would make them tough, but they'd still have the same issues...
This is not a suggestion for a modification to your list, but rather a fun thing - Logan Grimnar can allow you to have WG as troops choices, and they can really do a LOT of damage if you have a...
The comment about the normal CSMs with the Mark of Nurgle is a good one - added toughness makes them hard to shift. Plague Marines aren't as good under 6th Ed rules, but they're still pretty tough,...
Ah! I've been reading up... It improves baseline Invulnerable Saves, not cover... Boooo!
In a 6th Ed battle you're going to struggle against any flyers, so I'd recommend taking a unit of Tzeentchian Havocs behind an Aegis Defence Line with a Quad Gun. Not only will the Quad Gun offer you...
Predators give mobility, but a Devastator Squad behind the Aegis Defence Line would be very useful. Heartily recommended.
Wolfshade has a very good point - the only smaller squads that will really help you out, assault-wise, would be Vanguard Veterans. Ten is enough to weather a storm and deal out some damage. I'd go...
