The Necron Tomb Stalker in the new Imperial Armour is pretty beefy. I think it has furious charge, feel no pain and it will not die - that's a true monster.
I wrote this for my blog www.imperiusdominatus.com thought I would share with you guys:
Pink Horrors are a bit of a weird one in the Chaos Daemons codex thanks to the weird Tzeentch power rules....
I've got 15 painted Flamers (3 are the old metal ones rest are plastic) which are based and flocked.
I have also got 18 Screamers painted (6 unpainted plastic rest metal) which are based and...
Shaun come round with his Guard still trying out some different things. I'm proxying Grey Knights with my Blood Angels and the odd Carnifex or two as Dreadnoughts, lol. Before we played I realised I...
Las/plas for Angels rules because of the fast vehicles. I'd add melta into those Assault Squads and flamers so you can deal with tough armour and hordes.
Some Priests would be a god send for this...
I'm not sure why you think it's shocking not to use jump packs with Angels, it's quite common to use transports considering they're fast vehicles which makes them very effective and attractive....
I've been looking at Grey Knights and done two test games and really it comes down to the unit size. Psycannons are cheap and affective so you'll be using those Grey Knights mostly as fire support...
I used to take brightlances on most of my Serpents and also twin-linked shuri cannons. I found lances are only affective against heavy armour, which is the Dragons job, against normal armour the EML...
I also started doing my own gaming board too. I've got about 8 ruins to go with it as well, it's WIP atm and I've decided it needs painting to keep the basing together.

I had been hastely working on my Iron Warriors a few months ago as I was going to attend a local tournament, unfortunately I double booked and had to miss it. Due to tournament rules everything had...
My Imperial Fists are having a massive overhaul. The army is painted golden yellow but I liked more darker gritty paint jobs and that bright yellow is just unrealistic. I've started painting the army...
These last few months I've got loads of projects going on 40k wise. Currently I'm working on my 2.6k Tyranid army, I've got 40 Hormagaunts left and 13 'Stealers and then all models will be painted,...
I run two land speeders with multi meltas and heavy flamers and they work well; though they do act as suicide units and are quickly targetted. A typhoon can hang back and fire kraks, but a long range...
Best post your list first. Also if he takes vehicles do you take melta to pop them?
Aye, that was my point also, anyway moving on..
Personally I settle for crew stunned, wrecked or destroyed results as the tank is not moving or shooting for the next turn or the entire game....
Yes, so you still need 5+ to penetrate, yes? You roll 2D6 at least one of those has got to be a 5 or 6 to score a penetrating hit. So my point still stands.
And lascannons don't deal with armour...
You only need the prime if you lack synapse btw. Getting double shots isn't worth 40 points.
I've been collecting Eldar since June last year but I haven't had much games with them as they're not my main army. At first I tried to do a foot list and took Wraithlords and a Avatar.
The...
Your problem is lack of serious anti tank. Lascannons need a 6+ to penetrate armour 14 so not great and then you only have two melta unit which as you said is a one trick pony but also the work horse...
Try this Hellhound squadron tactica I wrote on my blog: http://www.imperiusdominatus.com/2009/11/hellhound-squadron-tactica.html
All variants have uses and weaknesses, I personally find the Hound...
Pretty sure any unit deep striking into terrain would have to take a dangerous terrain test. I guess also the unit hit by the template would get cover saves. I know there's a great whooping hole but...
Well the command squad will be bodybags because they have no invulnerable saves so against a dedicated c.c unit they will get hammered and die.
The thing about a command squad they don't offer much. See with mass meltas they'll just be a suicide unit popping tanks and then benig shot up next turn. They'll also act as bodybags for the...
Ok a chapter master doesn't offer anything extra over a normal captain besides the bombardment. So I'd change to a captain and trim down those points.
Are you going to combat squad your tacticals?...
