So i've just finished reading Mechanicum and while not the best HH book out there, it wasn't bad.

It mentions the loss of the book of the dragon at the end of the novel. Re-reading Titancus now...

being the old school gamer that i am, that i gravitate towards final liberation (great sound effects on a booming subwoofer!) and chaos gate.

thanks fellas for all the suggestions. it isn't any of them. i seem to remember reading somewhere as well that the game got canned before it saw the light of day. think it was called 'space marine'

it wasn't a mod for doom. i think it was a standalone game... it's driving me nuts!
