GW Washes work with Tamiya paints quite well. I find adding a touch of flow enhancer (maybe 5% or so....Ive never really measured) to the wash will work wonders . What type of airbrush do you use btw?

I.....you....jaw.....floor....
Seriously though, this is some of the best conversion work Ive ever seen. Everything oozes so much character and detail. Well done!
Very nice conversion! The legs seem a bit out of proportion (too long) though. Perhaps bending the knees a bit more or reverse jointing them to lower the stance.
Jaw.....meet floor...... This may be the best paint job Ive ever seen.... the detail on the cloak and flags is miraculous...
Do you have any work in progress shots of this project?
Excellent work on the vehicles...but that fortress is stunning. Would you happen to have any WIP pics or tutorial on how to build it?
Im not sure if its just the lighting in the pics or the type of varnish/sealant you used but the models have a really interesting softness (for lack of a better term) that make the highlights/base...
In one of the first Ciaphas Cain novels (caves of ice i think) Cain mentions one of his female troopers (Magot I think"preferences run entirely in the opposite direction" Which granted Cain isnt the...
The head is the size of a base? Thats an impressive amount of detail for such a small bust. Very Well Done! What is it carved out of?
Sweet zombie emperor on a pogo stick that is amazing work. More! We must have more!
GW really came through for the poor forlorn DE players....Those models are phenomenal.
Freezer did the trick! Thanks for the tips!
Thats a damned good idea....thanks!!!
Any idea on optimal freezing time? Or let it sit overnight?
When I was on my snow themed army kick I found that the pva/snow goop seemed kinda...flat...like it didnt seem as dynamic as the models that went on it. I tried putting a small layer of pva/snow down...
Aye, by CA Glue I meant cyano-acrylic. Thanks for the info...I shall prepare the big tub-o-simplegreen.
Heya BoLS, Recently, I came across a chimera conversion that I pretty much fell in love with....but there is a problem...I found the conversion after I built 3.5 chimeras (one is still in progress)....
Hey everyone, anyone know of any 40k RPG groups in the denver area that need another? My friend let me borrow his Inquisition and Rogue Trader books and I would like to give the games a chance.
I used to use simple green but Ive had much better results with a product called Purple Power, works faster and doesnt have the fresh pine scent!
A thunderbolt falling down the stairs...that must have been the most horrible sight ever >.< Ugh and the sound! thud thud thud crack thud thud thud crack!
Ive all but given up on the GW Spray Undercoat. Ive actually had really really good results from the Army Painter colored primers...but no clue on how they will behave on resin.
Thanks alot for all of the responses! I really appreciate the advise.
Thanks to the wise council of many of you on BoLS I feel I have gotten a bit better with my painting. So I am thinking about trying a few resin models from forge world but I had a few questions....
...
Wait Im confused? I thought Tau where suppose to look...y'know...non threatening and impotent.
Greetings Oh most epic of painters.
Well..in my humble opinion....you have NAILED the look of the blessed servants of the Omnissiah. And those sentinel conversions are the icing on the win cake. great work!
Sadly this happens too frequently with Purity Seal. Ive had great luck with Testors Dull Coat sealant.
