Possibly also staying away as the ads have been really ****ing annoying lately. Just had one try to download stuff and redirects and things. Also constantly loading and being generally buggy as hell the last couple of days.
yeah they keep doing that when I try to browse on the phone.
I'll repeat my usual response though firefox+adblock plus
Yeah, but I kinda don't want to block BoLS as it is part of their income and I like it here, you know? I don't mind ads, just prefer not to have ****ty ones.
Yeah but if they can't sort their safety out....
plus I don't have the spare bandwidth at work, I can't even watch youtube videos at work anymore :(
The advantages of no being at work, but I think I'm going to have to now after that last lot :/
yeah not being at work then I'm even more paranoid about the security of the pc :D
You could always try "noscript" instead, it should stop the redirect.
Well, I wouldn't say I'm stressed.
But my lower right eye lid keeps twitching. So much to do! But I can handle it, and come December.....pay rise and laurels and win and that.
The 7th ed arguments have died down a bit, that's probably a factor. ;)
Listen mate, we've heard many times before how "proud" you are of your job and more importantly how much disposable income you have. It's rather boorish to be honest and getting tiresome too. Especially in threads with members talking about hobbying on ah budget and you say stuff like "get a betterer job". You know some folks have dependants and commitments, those we know you don't.
Braggings not classy mate.
I don't think Lord Asterion gets to talk about classy anyways, since half of his posts are all about flaming anything associated with competitive play.
Flaming flaming achieves nothing gents.
And yes I'm aware I can be a little boorish, but seriously? My career is pretty much what I have in life. I mean, not as tragic as it sounds like, family are there. But it's just me only own, and I've seriously pulled my own socks up over the past four years. I have to stay self motivated, and focussing on what is coming next helps a lot with that.
And I should apologise for being overly blunt to be fair. Your a good guy really.
No worries dude :)
And look how amazingly civilised that was resolved.
Not how 40k general would have handled it :D
yeah, they would have dropped a titan on your house, and your entire neighbourhood to boot as well, then they'd drop in 10,000 Imperial Guard (and I'll damn well keep calling them that thank you very much sir, cant bloody spell their new name :p ) and finally they might call in an exterminatus for good measure!
The Fantasy Flight Forums use them as well, you get points for each like you have too, quite meaningless but fun non the less.
And points mean prizes...
I do love goths up trees :DQuote:
This goth has asked the questions that every serious goth should ask themselves when they find themselves in a park. The other serious questions they should ask themselves are: ‘Why didn’t I wear a panne velvet cape today?’, ‘Do my blacks match?’ and ‘Is it too early to be drunk?’. The question I asked myself in a park today was “what possessed you to wear double black velvet to work?” (it’s like double denim but more goth). Anyone with half a goth-brain knows that a velvet dress worn with a velvet coat will cause dress/coat friction-based rising resulting in an arse-displaying costume malfunction which you only discover halfway to work after walking along a major road for 15 minutes.
Have you raised the issue yet?
I'd like to introduce you to the synergy achieved by the 'NO!' Stick and the 'GET IT RIGHT' Brick. You see, properly synergised, you can attack colleagues with the 'NO! GET IT RIGHT!' Bat.
And by Synergise, I do of course mean 'gaffer tape and a six inch nail'.
Or indeed a nine inch nail, for extra emphasis and poser points.
I'm genuinely surprised they stopped.
Oh this amused me greatly.

I wants it.
It's sacrilege polluting the holy Yorkshire pudding with the abomination that is baked beans.
But apart from that yeah, why not add them to the breakfast? :D
Well mostly I just want Yorkshire pudding :p
You know whats handy to make big yorkshire puddings?
fry bentos pie tins :D
Hmmm, and a good excuse for steak and kidney pie too - good thinking 99 ;)
Pie is almost ready to come out of the over :p
Best. Name. Ever.
Except I did see one of those 'poor use of English on Facebook' things, where someone was (quite justifiably) called a Spacker. Now that's a proper insult from days of yore!
Spazzie McGee is now my first choice for stripper name should I ever require one, taking the place of Cuddles McNab.
