Yeah, the educated disaffected youth.
One thing we know about the educated is that they eat cheese while courting death.
But do North American statistics hold true for row?
in other news, Hollande visits Merkel, they go to Stralsund (rather beautiful city in northern Germany) - and hardly believe their eyes when they see the decoration on the town hall:
Attachment 8780
rather odd interpretation of the french flag...
Somebody mixed up Hollande and Holland?
kinda looks like it yeah...
but did they think they were being visited by Holland?
Or has another European country discovered how much fun it is annoying France?
well it's not like we Germans had no experience at that... maybe not quite as much as you Brits but ours are kinda more recent... *cough*
Yeah but our efforts had style and aplomb!
Like the seige of Copenhagen..
I want a contemplative sloth

See Sloths are better and more wonderfully they are members of the anteater family not the ape family...
Its that chin stroke though...
damn baby Sloth's are cute, shame they are usless....
Nicholas cage shoots down helicopters:

As opposed to all those useful pets?
I like the idea of a pet that stays in one place and only requires cleaning up after once a week :D
I want a Corgi or a Shiba Inu, purely because of the internet. Called Robert and Doge respectively.
They are entire ecosystems.
That is perfect.:p
And apparently it's not even edited, just put the audio straight over the top with no cuts :p
People in awe and wonder of the mystical rejoice!
Further to the semi regular unicorn sightings occaisionally reported on this thread and its ancestors, we have the first photo of an Alicorn!

In other news, Giger has popped his clogs.
Awww.:(
Clearly made his living out of stealing GW nid desgins..

Also, the Alicorn wings are too small it would never fly. And would glide as gracefully as a rock.
They fly through magic, not physics the wings obviously just store flight magic
Back of envelope calculation.
(In the stylings of What-If XKCD)
Typically birds lift work out to be between 10 - 20 kg/m^2, so let us assume that the Alicorn feather can be a little bit more sturdy up to 25 kg/m^2.
A throughbread weighs about 600kg, now let us assume that the extra muscles and wings add a further 100kg, giving us a 700kg weight to lift.
So each wing would need to be about 14m^2
Typically, the wings attach between the shoulder and the hip, so say a maximum length of about 1.5m
Meaning our wing would need to be about 9m long...
Though I could seriously be underestimating the muscle mass and wing weight.
Magic Wolfie, Magic! :D
Also pegasus are acknowledged as having a lighter build. So the weights might be high.
Halving the weight you still need a 5m wing! and I think I am massively understimating the muscle needed to flap such beasts. Look at birds, they are mostly chest, needed to propel their wings...
You just need to increase the magic.
Sometimes laws need to be amended.
Only if they are wrong
Maybe you should email the xkcd whatif for his take?
I am very tempted to, including my workings :)
It would be funny.
I was arguing about flight dynamics of a pegasus/alicorn on a wargaming forum with a MLP fan :D
