Hell yeah.
Coach from Upper Grosvenor Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells (more or less outside my flat) all the way to Canary Wharf, just like my usual working days.
RMT - YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER ME! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Beat the rush Leern2Cycle:

It did amuse me though. One of my friends on FB posted (unironically) I don't see what the trouble is with the Tube Strike, just fire all the trouble makers.
I replied, that's kinda what the problem is...
I'm amused by the headlines declaring the strike has caused widespread commuter disruption.
Surely it would be news if everyone just sort of got on with it.
You mean like when its "Civil servants go on one day strike - No one really notices"
Can't believe they're going to spend £60billion to knock 20mins of train to London.
That's true.
Particularly the smell.
And in other news.
44 days until the World Cup renders telly unwatchable, newspapers unreadable, and pub unenjoyable. What fun. :(
IDK, due to time differences won't we manage to largely get by with the TV undisrupted?
It's a ridiculous waste of funds. It'd be better spent extending the M67 under the pennines.
You'd think.
Instead, we'll just get wall to wall 'highlights' of Wayne Potato Face Rooney being sent off after taking a chainsaw to someone's legs, and pundits saying it was a fair tackle and how everyone and their Womble is out to get INGERLUND because reasons and they woz robbed and how the World Cup is actually won by INGERLUND every time but because reasons it gets given to teams that beat INGERLUND etc etc ad nauseum.
M67 extension to M1 would cost at least £720million, this is if it were flat, tunneling and elevated sections would cost more.
Still less than the 2.1 billion, but it is only 24 miles not 119miles scale it up to the same length at it would come out at 3.5 billion.
Plust you know connecting Birmingham and London better would impact more people than connecting Manchester and Leeds
Not really. Twenty mins is neither here nor there for that. The fact it's quicker to travel to Birmingham than to somewhere a third of the distance away is a joke.
plus thats pocket change by comparison, and more people would use it than a rail connection.
£720m million is still a boat load of money.
Especially given the proximity of M62 and the amount of vehicles that that actuall carries.
Also everyone knows transport links go North/South not East/West.
alright heres a question for you guys.
Which disney film has the highest body count (both shown and implied)
One of the Pirates films?
Or the extended version of 101 Dalmations where Cruella gets a new coat...
M25 started life as the M25 and M16 then the parallel roads were upgraded and subsumed based on flow studies done in the 70s.
The fact is that a new motorway doesn't solve congestion and years of expansion and methods of increasing capacity has only shown 1 trend. The more money is spent on a motorway the more congestion it acquires. Instead viable non-road methods should be looked at.
Railways aren't viable, why else would they require public funding and subsidy?
Mulan maybe? She does kill almost the entire Hun army in an avalanche.
Tron.
Because reasons.
What about Wall:e ? he's killed an entire planets worth of people...
Skynet? Rise of the machines?
No people till the ships return?
It's all implied...
