What they done?
My mortage application was progressin nicely, passing the credit check the affordability and everything. But they refuse to give me a mortgage because the deposit for the new house, which is solely in my name, will be coming from the sale of my old house which is in both me and the wife's name.
So I've had to re-submit with another firm which interest rate is 0.5% more, no free survey, no cash back. I am a little angry. Moreover it has pushed the timescales back by about a month as the new firm is being really slow approving applications, though I got my AIP through so the sale hasn't fallen through. Grumble grumble grumble.
I don't get why that makes a blind bit of difference?
