Debenhams reports 25% fall in profits. It has begun*
*Is this still funny?
*kind of?
The profit drop joke reports a 25% loss in humour - it has begun.
You clearly don't know what you're talking about. What qualifications do you have to say this the end?

All you need to know.

I have a project in mind.
A project which involves me sourcing and procuring the raw materials, and someone who can be trusted with serious power tools to do the assembling.
I am going to create......a Drumbecue.
Oil Barrel off Amazon, a snip at £28ish, and guaranteed never had chemicals contained within.
Square piping, Steel - about £22 per 5000mm (two lots should do).
Just looking to source a suitable steel mesh for the actual cooking gribble, and Bob's your aunty's live in lover....DRUMBECUE!
Which will be carted along to LARP events, and donated to my faction so we have some serious communal cooking area.
They are brilliant aren't they?:p Here is another:

Nah. Too far away.
Couple of my friend's are qualified Blacksmiths, so I'm hoping I can persuade them to do the slicing.
Best bit is, I may be able to make up two, as the barrel needs slicing in half.
Though could also make it a lidded one, so we can do more traditional, US style barbecuing on site. Which would be nice.
Not on the same scale.
This is intended as a gift for my Faction. The drum ones usually seen are fairly diddy.
Drum I've sourced is 205l capacity.....
I'm sure you could do it cheaper.
Though if you're feeling generous I wouldn't mind a titan ;)
No bog off.
Looking into the prices of the raw materials, and it's getting close to being cheaper just to buy off the peg, as I've found a website that does ones in the scale I need for roughly £150.
Materials remain cheaper, but I'd likely need to pay someone to assemble them, on account I cannot be trusted not to destroy rather than create.
Hey ho! Worthy exercise in sourcing materials all the same!
:(
Oh, ok...
Fabricate!
Oh yes. Basic model £150.
Or I could get the one with the lid for roughly £100 more....
I need moar powa!
Work PC failing at handling large data, I mean dammit if I want to make a pviot table with 9million data points it should do it, instantly!
Also, how I love the public sector. One woman's 'phone is broken, it is reported as not working so their help desk keep calling the broken phone....
ID10t error.
Maybe you should ask for a 32gb ram machine with an i7?
If they can't afford to send me on a training course I doubt that they could afford that!
Oh city council how I love thee, the way that you fail to return my calls and have now got a 10 working day window to call back to me. Oh yeah you are now also charging me extra to take way garden waste...
considering how your place procures stuff...
Anyway, anyone seen that hilarious tweet from the airline?
I'm not really sure thats the correct use for a 777...
I just saw it, made me giggle. :p
I don't think we can repost it here though...
No, plus some certain posters would take offence.
Pharrell Williams might be one of my favourite people alive.

To Van, or not to Van?
Need some wheels. Van opens up options for carting LARP kit about. But then so would an Estate type vehicle.
and paint it white.
coincidental ad placement works wonders...

I would also say go for a hearse!
But then if you get a van, you lose your ability to see velocipedists.
Also, new 20mph rolling out, oh hai city of london, your speed limit sucks. Also, congestion charges!
Instead go for this beasty:
