Some people's smartphones had autocorrected the word "BEAT" to instead read "BEAR".
The WWF said no money was taken from people who had sent the texts.
"Any texts sent to us instead of Cancer Research [UK] would not result in any donations going to help protect polar bears as WWF relies on human operators calling people back to confirm adoptions, so no money would have changed hands," said Kerry Blackstock, WWF's director of fundraising.
"When we realised there was a lot of interest in a campaign we weren't presently running we made sure our automatic text message response let the sender know their text had gone awry.
"We wish Cancer Research UK every success in their campaign and their goals, polar bear selfies are harder to come by, though, as far as we are aware, none wear make up."

In English there are strong verbs and soft verbs. Strong verbs are ones which are inherited from Old English, Saxon et al. and the past tense modifies the verb signifcantly, Weak verbs are ones where the past tense just adds an -ed to the word.
Most new verbs are created as weak verbs.
So I propse we make Text and Blog strong thus creating Taxt and Blag (instead of texted and blogged).
In addition a couple of strong verbs have been made weak, so glide and thrive will be made strong again giving us glad and throve.
Bucking this trend though is sneak which should be weak but the strong form of "snuck" has sneaked in. This is an abomination and must be stopped. (Yes stopped not stap).

The trouble is that the fringe tory voters are fringe tory voters mostly in mainly safe tory seats so it probably won't do much harm. Especially given that we are still over a year from teh next election, these fixed term parlimanets are hard to get used to.

But if Labour win (without a majority)then UKIP and Conservatives work together they can block every peice of legislation that Labour attempts to pass. Thus the UKIPTory coalition would be formed and would give farage a very strong place to push forward his policies.

THERE IS NOTHING ****ING SOVIETY ABOUT PUTINS RUSSIA! Grargh. The very socialist bit (Soviet) is missing and whatever Soviet era symbols he has restored are dwarfed by the Czarist symbols.

Well it depends. The Russian Monarchy was almost a constitutional monarchy and it was heading that way, a few more years of reform and peace and there would never have been a Revolution. The Czar for all the propaganda about him was far from a brutal dictator by the standards of the day.
