Did you see last nights episode ? Series 4 episode 14. Oh my goodness how ****ing dark was that. Best episode ever but very disturbing to watch. Brilliant.

Well, I've got someone trying to change my mind with the threat that they are 'preparing legal action'.
Guess nobody has told them that in my professional capacity, I'm immune from prosecution? You can't do it. I've caused you no loss. My decision is not final. Goes up the chain to the final step. And that person is likewise immune from prosecution. You can have the decision judicially reviewed, but you have to pay for that, and once again, the actual decision maker is immune from prosecution.

My local tesco seems to be a purveyour of counterfiet pound coins...
They'll chuck them back in the tills rather than banking them...
Dual metals, shape would have to be precise. Mix of weighting.
Despite it's higher value, we don't read about counterfeit £2 coins as much, so I guess they're onto something.
Of course you can confuse people by trying to pay with an old £2 coin, the are like large versions of the £1 but only single metal. Also, in the fun category, paying with scottish £1 notes :) (Or anyother Scotch note for that matter).
Budget day! Huzzah, lets see how much better/worse I will be off :)

Although a leftie, I remain largely better off at the moment. Combination of job improvements and favourable taxation changes.
Tax allowance goes up for me, and I do suspect we might see Beer duty stay the same, or come down a bit. Last budget had a major surprise of the Beer Escalator being abandoned, and a penny off the duty. Went down v well with most publicans!
Whenever I see the word publicans I think pelicans...
