7k from my asking price, which makes things a little bit of a squeeze to get the deposite for the new place and pay fees, searches, solictors costs, etc.
Just need to find a new place to live now. I'm thinking under a bridge...I should be more excited by this but I am not for some reason...
New position in work puts me on the southside of the building so I can shut that firery ball of anger out with inadequate blinds, onto a smaller desk with no facilities for my cycling stuff to hang up to dry. I am also facing the worng way so everyone can see my monitors :(

Can't move the desk, it is a typical civil servant rows of identical souless desks. There is a "breakout" area behind the bank I will be sat at, so might just go and live there with coffee and wi0fi.

uh yeah for me as a historian it was pretty painful... I mean the first one at least tried to show that the makers had read the sources (both the "kicked into a well" and the "then we'll fight in the shade" thing are from Herodotus, for example, which I thought was kinda neat).
