I'm amazed that some of those are the most popular in any state though...
Why the f*ck is Paramore not on there?
Also, Tegan and Sara did "Everything is Awesome" for the Lego Movie. They're both lesbians, and sisters, and performed "Same Love" with Macklemore. Bloody good tune.
AWOLNATION did the recent hit song called "Sail" which is quite apocalyptic, I like it because it uses a similar sound to the Reapers from Mass Effect on it.
Bastille are from London???
Wiz Khalifa and B.o.B. are awesome rappers, B.o.B. has done a song with Eminem and Hayley Williams (the latter he did another song with) called Airplanes.
David Guetta is possibly one of the most famous musical producers of our time, up there with Will.I.Am and the like.
I don't know much about Edward Sharpe, but my boss likes them.
Music muthatrucka!
Hillsong United are from basically down the road from me, not South Carolina..?
Oh I new I knew Guetta, Within Temptation covered one of his tracks in Q Music sessions, other than that no idea.
Oh I misread it, I thought it said most popular band by state ( at least I'm pretty sure thats what the comments underneath said) aye the actual labeling says differently :D
He typically does songs with other famous artists now.
Splodge, your map is inaccurate.

It's not showing what I thought anyway.
I was busy being shocked that stonesour and linkin park were more popular than some country act :D

you claimed to have, I questioned your figures.
My figure is awesome
the stats on the other hand...
With that heavy southern accent? Are you serious?
I don't get Ke$ha's appeal, she can't really sing, and she looks like she has gone through several hedges... and men... and drugs...
As for Shrewsbury, we don't really have any claims to fame musically, but we have Charles Darwin, so we win.
You should see some of the lugheads out on the lash, and then you'd understand his point. :p
Michael Palin was educated here, so that's kinda cool. Also, Joe Hart, England's goalkeeper, is from here. That's awesome.
Oh, and Charlie Adlard, the illustrator of The Walking Dead, comes from here too
If anything they're described as Southern Rock and Blues...
Never heard any of her songs but I see a lot of her quotes and defenses of her on tumblr so I approve of her.
Ah red saltaired boxes always look good...
That's all super, and I respect her for saying stuff like that. I have no problem with her personally but her music and lyrical style makes me cringe.

Her music makes me cringe to the upteenth degree.
Also, the green faded dye hair look does not ever suit anyone ever. *vomit*
Also also, in regards to the point about men and sex in songs, Pitbull is possibly the worst for it.
Also also also, doesn't anyone else think that spelling your name with a dollar sign is a bit pretentious?
Replacing an "s" with a dollar sign? Is that their trademark?
Speaking of pretentious :p

He's got my vote.
No, the $ symbol is derived from Peso, which preeceds the US or it's banks. The issue is the use in a specific system.
So for instance GW own 40,000 as a TM, but I can create any item I like and call it the whatever 40,000. The issue is if I were to release a table top wargame with that number, I wouldn't be allowed.
Consider the term F150. In 2011, Ferrari launched their 2011 F1 car and it was called F150 to mark 150years of unification of Italy. Ford then sued them for the use as they had a pick up truck called the F150.
Quote:
"Ferrari has misappropriated the F-150 trademark in naming its new racing vehicle the 'F150' in order to capitalize on and profit from the substantial goodwill that Ford has developed in the F-150 trademark," Ford said in a complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Detroit.
'mericans are just jealous we have Tom Hiddleston.

The getting the date the wrong way round is irksome, yes we commemorate 9/11, and it grates me logically, fine use the format YY/MM/DD fine, not an issue at all, also makes filing things alphabetically with date formats nice, but MM/DD/YY there is no logical progression you may as well tell the time MM:HH:SS I mean really/! *Soap box*
