I do like the composition of the UK Top Gear team at least - imo he fits well into there... don't really know a lot of stuff with him involved besides that...
Well if he hasn't managed to mortally offend you yet...
I like what he comes up with during challenges. He's irritating a lot of the time he isn't doing something crazy. He's also incredibly arrogant, which is off putting. About the only positive thing I can say about Clarkson's scandals is that they don't usually seem to be a deliberate choice, they're him being an ignorant twit and shoving his foot in his mouth.
I know that makes no difference to many people, but I guess I feel that foolishness is easier to cope with than deliberate maliciousness.
I do enjoy a bit of Top Gear, in a world that (to me) feels far too sanitised and PC most of the time. The top gear guys are a bit of fun. Sure they are offensive. That's the point.Quote:

well his scandals don't make it over here so they can't make me like him less... and yes he's quite the arrogant douche sometimes, but in the constellation of the Top Gear trio that usually just fits perfectly so I really don't mind...
This is more a condemnation of the state of things on this side of the pond than praise of Clarkson, but compared to what we have to listen to in America, Clarkson seems fairly mild, charming even.Quote:

Wonder Woman, yay! Pretty abysmal from a female reprentation perspective though, I mean ten films, six solo films, one woman lead and you can bget WW will be only woman in the Justice League films and I'd be surprised if Suicide Squad gets more than one woman out of 4-6 main cast members. Maybe 2 if there are 6 or more. Pretty good for racial diversity though to be fair.

there was a teacher exchange at my school once, one of our teachers went to a Canadian school and vice versa. the Canadian teacher hated it for the first month, he thought everybody there was absolutely horrible. until one day one of the local teachers explained to him that you are only rude and insulting to your friends. if you genuinely don't like somebody, you just ignore them, you don't waste time being rude to them. then he got in to the swing of it.
