Don't be hard on yourself. Nobody can have as little human emotion as Piers Morgan.
But yeah - smiling on cue make me look stupid too.

I suppose we shouldn't judge him by our standards. He isn't actually human after all.
Saw Pharrell Williams on Tuesday night, helluva guy, helluva concert. I even got a high five from him, pretty decent.
Being at the front is ace.

My favourite Hydra:

Monsters in my Pocket! Had heaps when I was little, all the duplicated I ended up with are now gargoyled on WFB terrain and the rest are stashed somewhere...
Why does the mutual love of mimp not surprise me.
Had the first 2, some of the 3rd (?) they glowed in the dark and aliens and dinosaurs.
Plus the "top trumps" style game that came along with it. My mate and I played it so much that we knew all of the stats just by name.
I had a few of those too.
Preferred Battle Beasts though - figures were better, and they had groovy Transformeresque heat stickers.
The aliens did, but if you put them in front of a fire to heat the plastic would melt on contact :(
The Oscar Pistorius trial returns the verdict today.
Turns out, Battlebeasts were originally a Transformers spinoff.
Don't recall them being marketed that way here in the UK, which seems odd!

I had none. I was too lego obsessed to get them as well.
A friend had that volcano wall display with them all in, never really understood what they did.

It's morphin' time.....

A couple of things that amused me regarding the new iWatch or whatever they will call it

But they're so small...
17 new sites associated with Stonehenge discovered, including a huge 'superhenge'. Meant to post this yesterday when it was announced but forgot.
But what do they actually do?
Make new age Wiccans really happy and boost tourism.
touché
I should probably go have a look at it one day.
It's ok, I mean it is worth visiting and quite spectacular but eh. Not huge into neolithic stuff myself. Some of my friends are into it though and are very excited about the new finds.
Yeah I assume its more a while you're passing attraction than a trip to see attraction.
I've also unfairly taken against Stonehenge because of some of the new age groups to be honest. I mean I'm fine with people making up new religions and whatnot if they aren't hurting anyone and I get the appeal of wanting some kind of deeper spirituality that isn't deeply rooted in patriarchal bollocks. But then they started claiming to have rights to stonehenge because they were the successors of the ancient druids, nevermind that modern druidism has nothing to do with ancient druidism bar the name AND most importantly that the druids had nothing to do with stonegenge whatsoever. They were much more hill and forest orientated so a big site in open plains was pointless to them.
The wiccans are a bit more sensible and just see it as a leyline hub thing with power and that's cool (ignoring the fact the guy who mapped the British leylines thought they were just path ways and trade routes and not lines of mystical power).
I mean it would be like if in two thousand years some new religious people started a religion based vaguely on Buddhism using Christian terminology and claimed to be the direct heirs to Catholicism and ask for control over St Peters.

SQUEE!
Damn hippies ruining everything.
And until the druids start practising human sacrifice how can they be druids?
Yup. At least some of the classical neo-pagan groups sacrifice a lamb sometimes. Being a druid and not sacrificing living things = not being a druid.
Well you can't sacrifice non-living things.
Fun fact about Stonehenge, they are welsh blue stone, which are also known as singing stones since they have rather good acoustic properties. That is, they ring when struck.
Therefore these may be a prehistoric instrument.
Indeed Maenclochog is reported to have used such rocks as bells in their church unti the 18th Century
So its a draconic xylophone?
anyway...
Just got feedback from my Ombudsman - it's all good in the hood, and I continue to crash on.
Huzzah!
Folks, we could be looking at a brave new world in the Middle East.
Saudia Arabia, and 10 other Arab states have agreed to stand with the USA against Islamic State.
This is pretty huge, politically speaking. A successful campaign like this could well strengthen relations in the area, depending entirely on how it's handled.
I really hope so.
I also note Iran has settled down a lot of late - at least they aren't making headlines.
I dunno.
IS aren't a recognised state, and seem to be petty damned unpopular, particularly as they aren't exactly Koran thumping in the usual way (seriously, these guys a proper bloodthirsty).
I meant the coalition.
