Instead of a short phone call with the company, however, his experience turned into a 20-minute ordeal, as Block and his wife were berated by a Comcast "retention specialist" who doggedly refused to accept the request.
"Help me understand why you don't want faster internet?" he repeatedly asked. "I'm trying to help you. You're not letting me help you."
I had a similiar experiance when I tried to cancel my AOL free trial. (While a student we had plusnet through our landlord, in the second year it was never disconnected and we never paid for it, they were fixed term disconnect contracts, so with 1 month to go in the final year, the landlord suddenly realised that we had had free internet so tried to get us to pay for the whole year we said "no" as it was his mistake so he took the broadband away. So I got a free trial of AOL to cover teh remaining month) It wasn't quite as bad as that, but still arduous

Be cautious lady, - probably not your ideal demographic in there...
Unless they're exporting it they deactivate the gun :(
Also somone told me you need a shotgun licence for the smoke launchers.
Anyone with a licence from the paper licence era can drive one with L plates on, but us poor suckers have to go do more tests.
Other UK sellers that you might find one on

Well to safely do tankery would replace the actual shell shooty bit with a air powered shooty whatsit and shoot paintfilled plastic shells or something, not sure yet.

Mental Note: When making a point try to be less subtle.
So I have been complaining for several months now (about 20 or so) that one aspect of my job is not going to be possible when the new system will be delivered, (incompatable data formats, removal of my existing DB tools etc.) this has been a concern but people have largely not paid any heed. Anyway, I was told to write a work instruction for my job for the new system, which is ok, but when it came to the part that I cannot do I wrote: Divine the outcome of this analysis as there is no transformed solution, perhaps cast runes or try dowsing and record the results
Now unfortunately, I was under the impression that this was an internal use document, however, it has been reviewed and become an agreed process with the customer.
Now do I:
a) Explain to my boss what happened and take respobsiblity for it
b) Explain to my boss what happened and blame the design team for not meeting my requirements
c) Explain to my boss what happened and blame the reviewers for not querying it
d) Put in an expense claim for runes
e) Issue a minor document change updating it under the reasons "minor formatting changes"
Laugh, cry, grovel.
In that order.
B, C, D, and possibly E.
Mostly B&C
Never A.
E, Just do E
It was always going to be E.
Though the contract director was quite supportive of my wish to cast runes, especially as it was an agreed process...
You should at least get D done before they issue E
Bomb resistant building, escape is improbable...
