Wild strawberries are much smaller and sweeter than normal strawberries. They kinda dissolve on the tongue and taste more like "strawberry flavoured" things. They are everywhere!
Did manage to have 2 coppers turn up and give a statement on a saturday night so that was a surprise. Hopefully, we can have a local resolution (i.e. they give me a boat load of cash to repair the dent (mostly pulled out)) as the SO would not cope wiht having to go through the whole legal system .
They sound much nicer.
They actually got someone then? Just how big a dent was it?
Can understand that with the SO. Plus if it went through courts they'd get a compo regime that probably didn't cover the cost and pay at £1 a week forever.
Rumour has it that the fellon has been arrested. So more on that as we get it.
Needless to say with that damage and the noise I am concerned that I may have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire

Saw one of my mates bands recently which was a bit strange, fantastic drummer mind, currently trying to decide whether to quit his A levels and go one a world tour as a drummer in a folk band or continue and continue with his existing band.

They seem to be doing quite well for themselves, so you may have heard of them. Reminiscent of 90's Indie at it's best, and the vocalist has more than a hint of Kirsty McCall....

Hate Oasis, Pulp's Cocker gets on my tits, and Blur are very meh. All the rest were just tagging on those three's coattails.
Nirvana was the band to listen to in the early nineties till that unfortunate incident.
Oddly, I've found Nirvana to be somewhat overrated.
When they're good, they're amazing. But so much of their stuff just sounds 'meh' to me. I often wonder had Cobain not jobbed himself, would anyone still be fussed about them? Plenty other bands defined a scene and have now been largely forgotten.
