I don't know, maybe?
Oddly, reverse for me.
I'm the only one not suspended.....
More later, once I've finished work.
uhhh drama
Yeah.
I have drama, more drama than the works of shakespeare!
In other news woman at work is annoyed with me because the data that I said would take 3 days to get couldn't be produced within 4 hours of her asking for it.

"It's been 23 days and the pack still has not noticed I am not one of them."
Amaze.
Aubergine
Not convinced it would last 23 days in that condition

how the **** do cats even work
'Orrible creatures.
At least a Dog is, you know, a Dog. And happy to see you. And nice. And fluffy. And slobbery. And appreciative.
You mean clingy, slobbery and smelly?
Yup :)
Dogs are awesome.
Cats really don't care if you live or die.
My local has a regular who rescued two Staffies. You will never meet two more lovely, slightly mad pooches in all your life. Such friendly! Much affection! Wow!
I think if I go home I will...
Cats are evil, the decimate bird populations, which then give rise to issues of insects growing without predation, so the numbers expand so crops and other plants are over eaten which causes the widespread use of insecticide which gives people cancer.
Cats are giving us cancer!

Maybe I should be a writer for Das Mail
Nah.
You didn't mention Islam. I'm afraid you have failed your Daily Fail interview, and are therefore relegated to The Daily Star.
No point in having them as a pet if you get nothing from them.
Doggies are awesomely good companions. Not necessarily suited to the hustle and bustle of the modern world (you can tell I love Dogs, because I don't have one for that very reason), but totally awesome.
I find dogs obsequiousness offensive, doges excepted. Also wolf like doggies that maintain some dignity.
I wouldn't mind a Northern Inuit (GoT Direwolf) I have to admit. Have a British bulldog which prefers to spend most of its time with the other dogs and horses, not me.><
They do say dogs have good taste...
This will make sense to only a few posters, but it needs to be said
SUCK IT QUEENSLAND
Sport?
No, more a fundamental part of life
Probably.
But not proper sport.
Silly Foreign Sport.
Only took them eight years.
And the moral of the story is that if you aim your own weapon at armed Police, they are going to shoot you
He's fairly lucky they now have baton rounds and tasers, a decade ago they'd have just shot him and not really worried about it.
Today, I realised that we live in a post scientific age, and it made me sad.
By this I mean, we live in a society, whereby "papers" are no longer peer reviewed, but lauched straight into the media and then are warped and taken as gospel. Where ancedote and excpetions are seen as the normal, and where proper peer reviewed studies, with statistically significant results being weighed less then a "human element" story.
For instance, the overwhelming evidence between smoking and cancer, and yet confront people about their 40-a-day habbit and rather than listen to the facts, they cite their great uncle who smoked 40-a-day and died 92 from pneumonia, because they believe the exception rather than the rule.
You present people with facts and figures to back up what you say, and they reply "I don't believe you", well you know what, it doesn't matter. This is not a matter of belief, there is no requirement for faith, this is cold hard facts and figures. Believing in something where evidence proves that you are wrong isn't faith, it is ignorance. GPS works because of special and general relativity not because you believe it to work, even if you don't believe Einstien, your device will still function.
A story about some person you know, or a person some guy down the pub knows does not equate to a n year study involving x many times participants.
Urgh, one person was observed today saying "it can't be science as no-one observed it", no one observed the formation of gravity, but it still is observable (i.e. when it de-coupled from GUT)
Truely, we are entering the dark age
In a similar manner, when people use the "I'm entitled to my opinion argument" as if it overrules facts. You are indeed free to believe what you wish, but it doesn't alter facts and that your "opinion" can be wrong.
Also anecdotally the stupid breed quicker.

Apparently the NHS is better than we thought
Ongoing saga.
Ultimately, I've done the morally correct thing, and indeed met a condition of my contract.
But I still feel not-great about the trouble I've caused for some of those affected :(
