Same difference - They can't upstage The Bride!
Lol :p one nice one I saw was just having the brindesmaids and groomsmen wearing their own dresses/suits to match a them (say blue dresses / ties) so that way they either don't necessarily have to spend money on something they don't like but it'll also look better on them individually as a single style won't always suit everyone the same.
Also Carrie Fisher hiding in a garbage can on the set of Star Wars:

Yes, clearly Social Services have a full on 'crap parent radar' and should have stepped in, on account you couldn't be bothered*
Also....Wolfie....here's another one for you.

*Would have used stronger language, but work filter.
Am I reading that correctly, the house is a squallour because social services didn't clean up? Is that really what the father is implying? FFS they are adults and whether or not they behave like one they are and so should stand on their own two feet and accept that they didn't bother to clean or care for their children. I mean its not like after the first they didn't know where they came from.
It is things like that which makes me wonder if people should have their eggs and sperm removed once developed, froze and then have IVF once you have been licenced to be parents.
Wrong Wikket

Oh you appear to have read it correctly.
And Mums - I'm not entirely convinced mayonnaise can be used to treat headlice.
Really not liking the passing the buck. And unless there's another couple out there in the same straits, that'd be the ones who when nicked, both attempted suicide....
My goodness after tea it sped up, could hardly catch my breath! Still 5 days and a draw...
Well, I'm in a right mood.
Immediate colleagues deliberately accessed a confidential document they shouldn't, and wound up knowing the level of my pay rise and bonus. Something I still don't technically know, and won't do until Thursday.
And yes, that's very much a sackable offence, being gross misconduct. Leaves me in an awkward position. Think I have to tell the boss, as no way am I going guilty by association.
have you tried kicking them?
Nearly.
Seriously not happy with either situation.
Well he did say somebody's getting the "boot"
I've had to "let go" many staff over the years. It's not a pleasant experience, even if they have had warnings or done something warranting instant dismissal, (which never happens due to appeals and consultation) would start with suspension 1st anyway.
Quiet bollocking wouldn't help 1st ?
How are you aware its been accessed?
Not just better to keep your head down?
As a public sector employee isn't your renumeration details available to anyone making a freedom of information request?
Purge them with fire.
That is all.
Well, that wasn't much fun. But right thing is done.
If you sit on these things, and they get found out (which they do), you can get in as much troub.
Didn't enjoy it at all.
How did your thing friday night go anyway?
It didn't. She cancelled.
Bah.
But I did pull Saturday night, so balanced out.
Trade it in for Wife 1.0.
Take two of Game of Thrones tonight, with Simon and Chloe.
And with Game of Thrones done, we're going to check out Penny Dreadful. Which is either going to be ace (Victoriana FTW!) or utter bobbins (you spoiled it with Steampunk, you goon).
I would watch Penny Dreadful, and it has got good reviews in the RT. But I don't Sky Atlantis.

Autocorrect for coup d'etat is metadata? Really Chrome, really?
In the days of information wars the putsch is irrelvant, only the metadata and the ministry of information.

Quote:
The Laundry is the world's only ISO9001-approved occult intelligence agency. As a Laundry officer, you're empowered and bound to investigate bizarre cults, thwart misguided experiments, exorcise demons from computer networks or the brains of voters, and ensure that the world doesn't get destroyed ahead of schedule... and come in under budget, or the Auditors will eat your soul. You can't efficiently protect the United Kingdom from the scum of the multiverse (in an efficient, enterprise-focussed sustainable customer-facing manner) without this employee's handbook. Inside, you'll find: Advice on tradecraft, tactics, and safe sorcery New equipment and training courses Things with tentacles, some of which may be your co-workers Rules for civilians, external contractors and non-Laundry personnel Archival notes on the Laundry, including rules for running historical games Maddening forms and eldritch bureaucracy And more! The Laundry Files: Agent's Handbook for those employees who, on the whole, would prefer not to be devoured by alien space gods. Everyone else, form an orderly queue for Cthulhu.
now if only I had fellow fans, and people to rpg with >_<
