Continuing where we left off...
I think *****tone is another place that would be difficult to mention here. Although that one still makes me laugh when I see it on a map.
very scenic though.
I don't think I've ever been there before. May have to take a detour on the way back to Hull.
The one I suggested you haven't missed owt. The one you mentioned has a good wine shop near the railway station.
Oh yeah, I didn't mean S****horpe! :D I'm going to end up there at least once over the next 2 years anyway, possibly twice if I'm unlucky, so I'd rather avoid having to be there more than necessary...
I just thought I'd point out that if you're comparing them to Hull most places are very scenic😉. Not Middlesbrough though it's a ****hole and the **** isn't covering up a group of 1930-40s German Fascists 😝
Hey! Hull has this nice little section of Old Town in the middle which is actually quite nice, it is just surrounded by the rest of Hull :p
I was in York last though so considerably different from there...
Hull docks since they've been regenerated do possess the most impressive public toilets I've ever used but that isn't much of a plus point. It's not fair to compare it to York though which is the nicest City, ever.
Hull: UK City of Culture 2017 (Because we have run out of cities to award it to)

Visited Hull last month. It was like my home town of Great Yarmouth, only larger.
I've been to a wedding in Phallustone a few years back. Much merriment for all the southerners present.
Yesterday on my way home I overtook a car on my velocipede the owner of the yellow panda was unamused and had a go at me for going too quickly.
Today I had battered chips, it is a local delicacy, I was non-plused
Does it still have bobby Tussauds, the cousin of Madam and the most rubbishest wax works in Christendom?
I have never seen the interest in wax works
Nope.
I mean if they were free I might wander round one once for novelty value, but pay to look at wax recreations of people? Nope.
Too chilli for me!
Docwra's Wax Museum? Shut down I think, never been.
So, uh... what happened to this place? I'm finding topics with current news and stuff (like Rogue One!) that haven't had posts in two months. I've been away with being busy at work (finally got someone to help me, only took them five years), ridiculously sick, trying to actually enjoy life where I can... Finally check in and realize I've not been here in about three months, and yet it seems not much has been posted, even in the Off Topic forum. Kind of sad. :(
The rules were enforced and as a result some people left.
So it is a little quiet around here, with most new threads being bolsadmin (which you can't filter out, I asked)
Yeah, it's hard sifting through all the BoLSAdmin posts to find the actual posts. Shame the Ignore function doesn't work like that on here.
Also yeah, most everyone left after a load of threads got shut down and stuff happened.
There are people still here though and Bols Is starting to get more active again with different people looking like they are popping back every now and then for hobby related discussion so yay.
In other news, I found Jonathan Pie this week, that guy is Epic!
Went to WHW on spur of moment Saturday afternoon. Friend was saying they'd like to go, I was like it's twenty mins down the road from you come on. They decided we made the right decision, plus enjoyed the eating in Bugmans.
No, it was for the museum. A friend said she'd wanted to go and as there were no objections from our less interested partners we went for a look at the shinies. She now want's to collect AoS, well at least all the big monsters.
Can anyone remember what sprue the power armour crux terminatus shoulder pad was an extra on?
I want to say the command squad sprue, but I couldn't swear to it. GW site wasn't much help.
Tanks, yeah I've had the command squad suggested elsewhere as well. It saves me looking through every box for one :D
This was interesting:

Two days in Manchester have left me drained.
Glad to be home.
