I didn't have any trouble with paris that i recall.
Madrid I think I might still have an army sat there. Probably unnecessarily by now.

As Britian I wanted to ally with portugal and march up through the penisular with line infantry supported by a light infantry and a squad of green jackets, though alas that wasn't to happen. Portugal got squished and by the time I had researched riflement France & Spain weren't in Europe...

Portugal still exist in mine.
They're just sat doing nothing except killing their own peasants...

I think I'll go into maritime trade quicker next time. build up the economy faster.

I always think this then end up with a war and forget to protect my fleets...

Could go someway to explain why I tend to ignore them and leave the new world till the end, don't need no boats that way.

I went for simultaneous invasions of India and North America.
It left me quite stretched at first. Then I had to get the economy in gear to support the troops.

What a Noob! Only fight one war at a time, unless it invovles a minor nation and/or the barberry states (or the phony war as I call it)
