Thats just the bare resin and plastic. Converting them was really easy.
I'll get some more up when I get around to painting them.
The fact that you can swap heads and arms on them is so nice. I was never up for the pain in the butt that is converting metal, but it's not even a concern with these guys.
Were they actually multiple pieces? That would be awesome.
Lets see... None of them had seprate heads; those were molded on so I clipped them filed the space with my dremel. All had at least 1 arm that was separate. In that regard, each model has at least one non-issue arm, but not all of the new arms were on the side w/o the separate arm.
Dude w/ LC has two new arms. I made the decision purely based on how easy it would be to remove the arms without any auxillary damage.
Dude with the Storm Shield has a weapon arm that would be harder to remove w/o auxillary damage, so I swapped his weapon at the hand (used to be a chainsword I think). The same goes for the guy in the middle with the Glaive.
Also, the arms I did not use for these guys were saved, because the shoulders on them are still really nice veteran shoulders.
Again, really a joy to work with. I wait in anticipation for the other veteran sets to come out in finecast so I can chop and hack them to bits as well.
